CTA
The CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) operates the 'L' elevated and subway network plus a bus system. A Ventra card (reloadable, available at all 'L' stations) is the most convenient way to use both. Rideshare
Rideshare services operate throughout Chicago and are widely used for venues not on a direct CTA route. Expect surge pricing on busy Friday and Saturday nights in entertainment districts. Allow extra time for pickup near large venues after events end.
Parking
Parking near Wrigley Field, the United Center, and entertainment neighbourhoods like Wicker Park is limited and expensive on event nights. Venue-adjacent lots fill early. CTA or rideshare is strongly recommended for most events. See our getting to venues guide for specific routes.
